OUR LEGEND

Dakota Steak Burger was born in 1993, in Pollensa (Mallorca) and the history of this chain of restaurants is linked to a Mallorcan family, with the aim of creating a genuine thematic American restaurant with American, flavor but always faithful to the local products from Mallorca.

What makes Dakota Tex Mex restaurants unique is our purpose to be famous for our fresh beef burgers, which are elaborated with Spanish meat from bred freedom, avoiding any kind of processed and frozen goods..

We are also well-known for our smoked and slow-cooked ribs, coming from Mallorcan black pig cooked in the oven for 8 hours at 90º degrees; it’s what gives them a special flavor.

Our fresh fries are carefully hand-cut and made with olive oil with great care; these delicious potatoes straight from the field in the heart of Mallorca make the best of our American specialties. Also our bread burgers are home-made, elaborated at our culinary workshop, turning our hamburgers into a 100% artisanal product.

All of this along with the affection and eagerness of our staff to improve day by day it has allowed Dakota Tex Mex to widen their business counting with 6 restaurants.

Dakota is a chain of American themed restaurants which are located in the most emblematic places of the north of Mallorca and are defined by their decoration and delicious meals, which create the perfect atmosphere to believe you’re in the peaceful Mediterranean as well as in beautiful America.

Our abundant and delicious offer of food and great services which you´ll find in our restaurants in Puerto de Alcudia, Puerto de Pollensa and Can Picafort are characterized by:

Taking care of every detail of our restaurants. We try to transport our clients to a different part of the world at the same time as allowing them to enjoy the amazing feel of the Mediterranean. Because the only limits in the world are set by yourself.

Our food is based from nachos and burritos, to unbelievable gourmet hamburgers right through to ribs, meats and fish. You mustn’t leave our restaurants whitout try one of our treats, they´ll leave you wanting more!

We also offer different salad options or fajitas so you can choose where to get the maximum of flavour from. Oh, and don´t forget our delicious snack such as our sandwiches!

And now, moving onto the most succulent part, let´s talk about our meat selections: grilled, roasted or in crispy breadcrumbs, our meats will be the tastiest you´ll have tasted in a long time.

We also have a wide selection of delicious juicy hamburgers with different ingredients which won´t fail to please you. From our complete 150 burger, we have what you´re looking for.

And to accompany the best dishes we also have all kinds of beverages. Try our magnificent red, rose or white wine, and if in the end you feel like it, why not make a toast with one of our cava’s? Because the union between two cultures had never been so good!

To finish, we must mention that we are a family restaurant which loves getting visited with children, and that´s why our “Dakotin and Dakota Fun Club” will make the little ones enjoy their visit with a complementary educational gift, allowing the older ones to also enjoy themselves.

We wished to focus on North America because of its rapid and abundant history which has left its mark on civilization, and such can be observed in its traditions as well as in its antique recipes which are still eaten even though there have been thousands of gastronomical changes.

Since its origin way before the colonialization of America, where the indigenes ruled its deep lakes and high mountains, until the appearance of the ideal American dream where lights and colours used to illuminated its stars daily life, from New York to Hollywood, running through to Vegas.
